Steps
Flaó is one of the most typical desserts on the island of Ibiza. It is a traditional Easter dessert but nowadays it is enjoyed every day of the year.
To make this typical Ibiza dessert, just follow the steps below:
Dough:
Knead the flour with the grains of aniseed, water and oil in equal parts and add a glass of aniseed.
The dough should be compact so that it can be rolled out in the mould.
Filling:
Mix the eggs, the crumbled cheese, the sugar and some mint leaves. Pour the filling over the dough, add some mint leaves on top (optional) for decoration and bake in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at 180º.
