Between May 4th and 6th, the international final of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards will be held online. An international competition that will bring together entrepreneurs from fifty countries and in which the winners will receive 100,000 euros to develop their startups.
Three of the four university entrepreneurs, candidates to represent Spain in the international final are foodtech with very interesting projects.
But what exactly are the foodtechs?
The work of these startups consists mainly in taking advantage of new technologies for the development of the agri-food industry. In other words, they identify the latest food and technological innovations related to the gastronomic world, paying special attention to the way the end customer acts. They provide creative and technological solutions to contemporary challenges, transforming this industry into a more modern and sustainable sector.
