Events from previous years
Eating in Ibiza has been working since 2020 to position the name of Ibiza on the national and international gastronomic map. Here is a complete list of the different actions carried out in recent years.
2023
Estrellas contra el cáncer
Following the success of the first edition, Eating in Ibiza, renowned Chef Óscar Molina and his friends, along with Nuria Moreno, returned to present ESTRELLAS CONTRA EL CÁNCER.
At this charity dinner in favour of ASPANOB, 14 renowned chefs came together to create a gastronomic menu that allowed diners to enjoy an exceptional culinary experience, in a must-visit place on the island: the STK Ibiza restaurant.
Masterclass “Ibiza al punto dulce” e “Ibiza al punto”
Eating in Ibiza is once again presenting a masterclass ‘Ibiza al punto dulce’ at the EGPG (Escola de Pastisseria del Gremi de Barcelona) and ‘Ibiza al punto’ at the CETT School of Hotel Management and Tourism (UB). Its objective continued to be to present first-hand the values, technique and gastronomy of Ibiza in a two-hour masterclass.
Once the preparations were finished, Ibiza was presented as a professional destination, revealing its great opportunity in the workplace due to the great gastronomic offer it offers thanks to the more than 1,000 restaurants open on the island, 3 of them Michelin stars (at this time).
Madrid Fusión
At our own stand, we offered an exclusive menu every day for 15 diners, including journalists, prescribers and experts, who were able to taste first-hand all the possibilities of the products from the land and sea of the islands of Ibiza.
In addition to the gastronomic samples, the stand promoted typical products from our island such as local wine, salt, Ibizan herbs, Ibiza honey, jams, among others.
2022

Gastro Eventos
The Gastro Events were Ibicencan cooking workshops where attendees were able to learn how to make typical desserts such as flaó, gastronomic routes through emblematic places in Ibiza, tastings and samplings of local products in charming places, guided tours to the producers themselves...
Jornadas gastronómicas
The third edition of this gastronomic event took place from May 1 to 31 and the participating restaurants offered various menus with products of our land as the protagonists.
From local meats such as lamb with the Anyell d'E seal to fish from Ibizan fishing grounds with the Peix Nostrum seal, passing through "payés"" chicken (raised in the fields of Ibiza) or the sought-after ibicenca red shrimp, attendees were able to discover everything that the local product of Ibiza has to offer.
Masterclass "Ibiza al punto dulce" e "Ibiza al punto"
We presented a new masterclass “Ibiza al punto dulce” at the EGPG (Escola de Pastisseria del Gremi de Barcelona) and our 2nd edition of “Ibiza al punto” at the Escuela de Hotelería y Turismo CETT (UB).
The purpose of this beautiful initiative was to make the values, technique and gastronomy of the island of Ibiza known first-hand.
Both were divided into 2 blocks. In the first one, a presentation and explanation of the Eating in Ibiza Product Club was carried out and in the second; the chefs participating in this project prepared their outstanding recipes.
Cena Sa Brisa Madrid
The Ibiza Town Council and Fomento del Turismo, through its product club Eating un Ibiza, present the gastronomy of Ibiza in Madrid to food critics and specialist journalists.
The chefs who won the first Ibiza Gastronomy Awards, awarded by the Council's Department of Tourism, Óscar Molina from the restaurant La Gaia by Óscar Molina, Paulina Mauvecín, from the restaurant Eat is Life, David Reartes from the restaurant Re-Art and Pomona and Catalina Riera, from the restaurant Can Alfredo, have prepared a tasting called ‘Ibiza tastes like sea and land’ in which the avant-garde, fresh produce and traditional cuisine are mixed.
The chef from the restaurant La Brisa, Ernesto Portuondo, also participated.
Gastronomika
For the second time, Ibiza's gastronomy has been present at San Sebastián Gastronomika, one of the most important gastronomic congresses in Spain, in a promotional action led by Ibiza City Council and Fomento del Turismo.
A hundred speakers and food critics at the congress were able to enjoy a tasting of local products that was managed by chef Óscar Molina from the restaurant La Gaia, with a Michelin star.
Madrid Fusión
The island of Ibiza has been present at the largest international cooking congress, Madrid Fusión.
That year, Ibiza had a dining area for the first time, where for 3 days tasting menus were served, prepared by 3 of the island's most renowned chefs for 30 diners, all of them national and international press specialising in the gastronomy sector and food critics.
In addition, throughout the day, information and tastings of typical dishes and Ibicencan products were offered to visitors, thanks to the collaboration of Fomento del Turismo and its product club Eating in Ibiza and Pimeef.
2021
II Gastro Jornadas
The second edition of this gastronomic event took place from June 1 to October 31, and the participating restaurants offered various menus with products of our land as the protagonists.
Visitors were able to discover the authentic flavors of the island.
Gastronomika San Sebastián
Eating in Ibiza, in collaboration with Ibiza Town Hall, brought Ibiza's gastronomy to the XXIII edition of San Sebastián Gastronomika – Euskadi Basque Country for the first time, marked by the reunion of a sector, after the difficult period of the pandemic.
We would like to remind you that this congress hosts the best of Spanish and world gastronomy. It is without a doubt an essential event for the culinary world that Ibiza could not miss.
Óscar Molina from the La Gaia restaurant, David Reartes, from Re-Art, Catalina Riera, from Ca n'Alfredo, and Paulina Mauvecín, from Eat is Life, were in charge of presenting the quality and variety of the cuisine offered in Ibiza.
Masterclass “Ibiza al punto”
Eating in Ibiza has given the first ‘I Masterclass Ibiza al Punto’ at the CETT school in Barcelona with the aim of positioning Ibiza as a benchmark for international gastronomy in Spain and of making the island of Ibiza known as a destination for professionals in tourism, hospitality and catering.
CETT has been chosen for its professional prestige and the quality it teaches in its classrooms in the catering, tourism and gastronomy sector.
2020
Gastrojornadas
The first edition of this gastronomic event was attended by up to 26 restaurants, with the products of our land as the stars.
From local meats such as lamb with the Anyell d'Eivissa seal to fish from Ibizan fishing grounds with the Peix Nostrum seal, passing through "payés"" chicken (raised in the fields of Ibiza) or the highly sought-after Ibiza red shrimp, diners were able to discover everything that the local product of Ibiza can offer.
Gastro Eventos
In order to promote local products from our island, Eating in Ibiza organised, in collaboration with Pimeef and with funding from the Consell de Ibiza, gastronomic workshops throughout the Gastronomic Days.
During four weeks, a total of six Gastro Events were organised, completely free of charge and open to the public (except for those under 18 in the case of workshops with alcohol).
