Where to get the best local produce in Ibiza?
The holidays are approaching! And with them, the uncertainty about where to go for Christmas shopping.
To avoid any doubts and if you want to get the best quality, continue reading.
Starters and desserts
Getting the festive dinners and meals off to a good start is vital to having a magical evening, just as finishing well and saying goodbye properly is.
To do this, we recommend opening your mouth with a variety of products from Frutos Secos Ibiza, and bread and oil IGP Oli d’Eivissa accompanied by toasted sobrasada from Carn & Coop.
Moving on to the end of the dinner, if you want to experience a traditional Christmas, we recommend serving coffees from Cafés Ibiza, or even making the magnificent café caleta to surprise your guests.
If you have any dessert to accompany it, consider serving it with DOP Eivissa honey from the Associació d’Apicultors d’Eivissa or with jams from Can Malacosta.
To finish, serve a shot or glass of the best Ibiza herbs from the island from one of our partner producers.
You won't regret it!
The essentials for your recipes
If you are the cook of the family and you have been given the main dish, we have great ideas for you.
What we recommend is to go to the local markets in your municipality to get local products, if possible with a quality seal such as DOP or IGP.
The Cooperatives of Santa Eulària and Sant Antoni can offer a catalogue of local Ibiza products thanks to all those who are part of both.
If you are looking for seafood to serve guisat or bullit de peix make sure it is Peix Nostrum; fish from our waters obtained in an environmentally friendly way and with its own seal of quality.
Remember that, if you need almonds or any type of dried fruit for your recipe, Frutos Secos Ibiza has what you are looking for.

Give a local product from Ibiza
If you are a guest and not a host, you'll want to have some idea of what to bring to your lunches and dinners. Right?
If you are one of those who bring a bottle of wine, you can get a IGP Eivissa seal wine from Ibizkus of different varieties, or some quality herbs or liqueurs from Fluxà Ibiza or Familia Marí Mayans.
You can also bring a jar of high-quality honey from the Associació d’Apicultors d’Eivissa as a general gift, or some interesting product from Ibiza Delicatessen by Fluxà or Ibizaloe.
